Collaborative Family Law is a way of resolving disputes respectfully, without going to court.

Couples involved can set the agenda and control the decision making thus creating ‘fair’ solutions that match the family’s priorities.

It works as follows: you and your partner each instruct a specialist collaborative family lawyer and you both agree with your lawyers to work together as a team to resolve issues without going to court. There is a full disclosure of financial information and there are ‘face to face’ four way meetings (2 of you and 2 lawyers) to reach a settlement.

Visit collaborativefamilylawyers.co.uk for further information and www.resolution.org.uk/salisbury/about for details of the Salisbury, Andover and District Pod.

Our family law solicitors belong to Resolution, which is a family law organisation which believes in a constructive, non-confrontational approach to family law issues. Our lawyers are therefore trained to promote settlement and resolve disputes where possible. Visit resolution.org.uk for further information.
